Hi, thanks for following me! I read your blog post about perfectionism and could relate to some parts. My heart also goes out to you and your mother. Social expectations can be a real pain sometimes.

Hi again! I just saw your new media log and wow, great job! That must've been a lot of work! Many great movies and shows in there. I also really liked the new Batman and is actually my favorite film from the franchise. The show Schitt's Creek is really fun if you haven't seen it yet :D I enjoy reading your status updates and seeing all the new things you add to your site. Keep it up! :tu:

What inspired you to have so many different layouts for your sites? I feel like most of us forget that we can just break design "rules" and make whatever we want.

Replied on: March 8, 2026 at 5:37:14 PM

Ooh, that's a really interesting question! I think it really helped that I never looked at many other sites before doing my own, so I didn"t know what was the "standard'. So, when I started to think about what I wanted my site to look like, I immediately knew that I wanted different layouts for different pages, because that's what I like! Also, for me, it is kind of restricting to have only one layout bc most of the fun I get coding my site is the different layouts. So my initial thoughts were always that, it's your site, and you can do whatever you want with it! Plus, having different designs for different pages (for me) brought the whole site closer to my personality and made it feel more like me in the end. :D
